While learning Python as an investment banker, Zach made an interesting observation: Python programming had a lot in common with the Excel models he made at work. By thinking of Python like Excel, Zach quickly learned the coding language and invented Wells Fargo Securities' first machine learning algorithm for investment banking and capital markets. 

After submitting two algorithms for patent protection and winning Wells Fargo's 2018 "Local Sphere Innovation Award," Zach left investment banking to launch PyFi.

Now, Zach’s courses have been delivered to top banks in North America like JP Morgan, Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Montreal, Toronto Dominion, and thousands of students worldwide from analysts to CFOs.

Coming from a successful career in Manhattan brokerage where he built his
own team and led $100M in residential sales, Gill turned his attention towards a new industry and set of challenges.

With skills in business development, sales, marketing, contract negotiation, and management, Gill successfully expanded PyFi's distribution channels by tapping a new strategic partner in 2019 which led to placement in top banks across North America.

Shortly after, he partnered with Zach to become a permanent member of the company and in 2024, he did it again expanding PyFi's training to over ten thousand students across Europe and Asia.
